A Letter from our President March 2023

A Letter from our President March 2023

Hello there, Neighborhood CU Foundation friends,

Thank you for your continued support and participation in helping us further our mission of financial wellbeing for all Texans. We are continuing to grow and offer more education and services than ever before.

April is our favorite month as it’s Financial Literacy Month! Did you know that 58% of people don’t have $1,000 in their savings account? We’re working to change that. Please help us spread the love all month long on social media. Our Foundation Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have plenty of educational articles and great tips to share. We also have three different webinars discussing financial freedom, investing, and retirement.

Along with spring cleaning, it is a wonderful time of the year to reset financial goals. If you or someone you know could benefit from free educational resources, I encourage them to start with our online, self-paced courses here on our website.

As we continue to grow and spread more financial literacy resources to our communities, I would love to hear from you. If there is a specific need you see in your community that needs extra hands or additional supplies, please contact me. I’m always looking for new ways to get involved and can’t wait to hear what is going on in your neighborhood.

I am so happy you’re a part of this community and thank you for taking the time today to read a little bit about our upcoming events.

Thank you,

Jessie Swendig

President
